Who is Jeap Yang?
Jeap Yang is a citizen of the world. Born from Portuguese parents, he developed his unique style while growing up in the multicultural suburbs of Paris, France. In his teenage years, he spent his time between singing Gospel music and lending his voice to Hip Hop tracks. His signature vocals were further enriched by Fado music which is such an important part of his Portuguese heritage.
His debut album entitled “The Yin Quest” will be released on March 10, 2015 under his own imprint Bravesoul Entertainment.
The album is a reflection of his musical journey, drawing influences in soul, R&B, Jazz, Hip Hop, and World Music. His inspirational lyrics chronicle his search for happiness through stories of love, faith, fear, pain, forgiveness, and self-awareness. We are all set on a quest to feel whole and complete, to find the Yin to our Yang.
